Paintings inspired by my new home in Raleigh and the East Coast of North Carolina.

My love for Charleston, SC must have been born when I was, since my parents were living there on the U.S. Air Force base.  It was a wonderful place to live and will always inspire me.  Sharing that love with others through my paintings brings me so much satisfaction!

Livng in the South, I paint many water birds seen on my plein air painting trips.

It is my hope that viewers will be inspired to get out and enjoy some of these locations where I have been plein air painting scenes from my home in the South.

Designing and crafting handmade jewelry is a way to relax from painting and refresh my perspective.  Though I don't create much jewelry, it is a pleasure to handle the materials and create organic forms with them. All of my designs are given a name that reflects the inspiration for them, and every piece is uniquely original.
